Today I am very upset. This morning I had a fight with my medical aid about claims and the amount of money they make available to you for medicine use, which is not much. Only like 20 percent of what you actually pay. I feel ripped off today and frustrated. Everything is getting worse. The petrol price is going up. They are raising interest rates very fast. This all causes everything else to go up at quite a pace. A pace I can not keep up with. 2 years ago I was living quite comfortably. Never really had much extra money every month, but I could pay all my expenses and have a little left over for "luxury". Nowadays I struggle from one pay day to the next. Not sure if I am going to have enough money to get to work or even eat that night. The debt is heaping up and there simply is not enough money to cover everything. There is one problem with working nightshift .... you dont get enough sleep. And lets be honest, I need all the beauty sleep that I can get. Luckily I dont work nightshift all the time. Tonight is my last night for this week. I was looking forward to a nice couple of days off work, but now it is going to be filled with playing golf. Not that I mind playing golf. I love playing golf. It is just that I feel bad for Raven. Normally I will only play on one of my off days, so that we can spend some time together, but something came up and now I am going to play both days. I am going to have to make it up to her next week. No golf Monday or Tuesday. It will be Raven days.  .

Today is payday. Hooray. Only just made it to payday this month. Is it just my imagination or is things getting tougher and tougher? Well, anyway, Raven and me had a lovely day today. Went for a nice Wimpy breakfast, did some shopping, then went for a very nice lunch. The lunch was special because it was also an anniversary celebration for us. It is almost 9 years ago that Raven arrived in South Africa. Geez, I cant believe it is that long. Time sure flies when you are having fun.

Last night we met 2 very interesting people. Mother and daughter. What lovely people. It was a good thing that it was a week night otherwise we probably would have ended up chatting into the wee hours of the morning. Not everybody was off today, so I had to think of our guests first, who still had work today. I am not working this weekend. Saturday is deffinately a golf day for me and Sunday, well, we have no specific plans, so we will just have to wait and see what happens.

Several people have asked me why I dont blog. Well, up to now, I just didnt think about it. But aparantly people want to know more about my life, so ok, I will do the blog thing. At least give it a try. You know what they say, try everything at least once. Well, I am adventurous enough to try the blog thing.
